Journalists in the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC region share inside tips to help students and young professionals land that first/next job. Face Time with the Pros is a collection of seminars designed to help students learn how to be better storytellers, perform on camera, and find out what hiring managers are really looking for.
The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of NATAS successfully hosted 6 Virtual Journalism seminars for Face Time with the Pros in early April of 2022.

The Capital Emmy Chapter has been hosting Face Time with the Pros for nearly two decades in the Washington, DC region.
Participants included students from across the country: Maryland, Montana, Utah, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, New Jersey, Minnesota, Missouri, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, South Dakota, North Carolina, New York, Florida, and Washington, DC.
Journalists who are in the first stages of their careers also chimed in with questions on the news industry's direction. A host of experts and moderators who are seasoned journalists donated their time and expertise to the Face Time with the Pros mission.
