Earlier this month, our Chapter gathered for one of the most meaningful celebrations of the year — honoring the individuals whose decades of dedication have shaped journalism and media in our region.
On October 9, members of our media community came together in Williamsburg, Virginia, to recognize this year’s Gold & Silver Circle inductees. Surrounded by friends, family, and colleagues, these honorees were celebrated not only for their professional accomplishments but also for the lasting impact they have made on the stories we tell and the communities we serve.
The Gold & Silver Circle Awards are more than a recognition of career milestones — they’re a testament to the power of storytelling, the responsibility of truth, and the legacy built by those who devote their lives to informing and inspiring others. Each inductee’s journey is a reminder that journalism is not just a profession, but a calling — one that shapes public discourse, strengthens communities, and leaves a lasting imprint on generations to come.
We are proud to honor their achievements and celebrate their enduring contributions to media excellence.

I recently attended a similar event—a celebration of the anniversary of a fellow journalist who had been covering local events for 40 years, and the atmosphere was just as warm: people shared stories, laughed at old reports, and recalled how it all began with film and notebooks. This inspired me to think about how important it is to create comfortable moments for communication — after all, after such evenings, you want to continue the conversation over coffee or tea. So I ordered https://mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-12j-12-oz-retro-design-paper-cup-500-cs/ — these retro 12-ounce cups fit perfectly with the nostalgic theme, look stylish, and comfortably hold hot drinks without leaking.
Doodle Baseball is perfect for short breaks when you need a quick dose of fun. In the game Doodle Baseball, you can retry instantly after each miss. The fast restart keeps you motivated to improve.
Big congrats to this year’s Gold & Silver Circle honorees — this kind of dedication doesn’t just happen overnight, and it shows. Thank you for putting in the work, inspiring us, and reminding everyone why great storytelling still matters.
