Face Time with the Pros engages aspiring journalists and media professionals in region

The Capital Emmys recently hosted its highly anticipated annual Face Time with the Pros event, held at the esteemed University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism in early March. This event served as a pivotal opportunity to educate college students on the intricacies of broadcast journalism, while also nurturing the growth of the next generation of media professionals.


Attendees were treated to an array of engaging workshops designed to hone their skills and expand their knowledge base. From mastering live shots to delving into the nuances of visual storytelling and navigating the realm of digital media, participants were immersed in a wealth of invaluable learning experiences. Additionally, insightful sessions on crafting a standout resume reel provided invaluable guidance for aspiring media professionals as they embark on their career journeys.
