Huge congratulations to all the nominees in the Weather category! Predicting the elements requires as much planning as a battle. It reminds me of the strategic thinking skills needed in wargaming—you always have to anticipate the changing conditions. Great work by the broadcast teams this year covering those severe storms.
The visual presentation in the weather segment has improved so much this year. I imagine relying on viewer-submitted storm photos can be tricky due to quality issues. It's amazing how technology now allows stations to improve photo clarity instantly for air. Well deserved recognition for the production value shown here!
A huge congratulations to the teams from Univision Washington and WTKR. It's fantastic to see such important work on weather forecasting and that's not my neighbor hurricane preparedness being recognized. Well deserved!
