NCCB Leadership Joins National Gathering in Las Vegas

Updated: Sep 5

Several members of the National Capital Chesapeake Bay (NCCB) Chapter recently traveled to Las Vegas to take part in the Annual Regional EMMY® (NATAS) Chapters Meetings. The multi-day gathering brought together Executive Directors, Presidents, Chapter Council, and Awards Chairs from across the country to share insights, exchange ideas, and chart the future direction of the organization.

A historic milestone was reached with the first official meeting of the Chapter Council, creating a unified voice and vision for all NATAS chapters. Discussions also focused on ways to strengthen EmmyExpress to better serve members and ensure awards processes reflect the evolving needs of entrants in today’s rapidly changing media landscape.

“Our leadership team spent the week collaborating with our sister chapters and National EMMY leaders about how to innovate and elevate the things we provide to our members,” said Adam Longo, President of NCCB. “Recognizing excellence in our field is my number one mission, and I’m determined to make sure we do it in a way that provides tremendous pride and value to everyone who’s involved in our organization.”

There are 19 regional chapters of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) across the United States. Each chapter is responsible for presenting regional Emmy Awards and fostering excellence in television and media within its designated region.

The National Capital Chesapeake Bay (NCCB) Chapter remains committed to championing excellence in media while continuing to expand opportunities, resources, and recognition for our members across the region.
