What's New for the 2024 Call for Entries.

Categories Revamped - Audio is now Audio Recording, Mixing & Design and Lighting is now Lighting Direction/Lighting Design.
Short Form categories are BACK to being 10 minutes or less.
New Language & Guidelines regarding the use of A.I. (Artificial Intelligence).
Documentary categories include new language & have a minimum run time of 22 minutes.
Executive Producers & Managerial Roles now have defined roles.
Executive Producers must petition the Awards Committee for inclusion on entries.
Membership Dues - we have removed the pay by check feature this year. If the station is paying for multiple memberships, please reach out to adixon@capitalemmys.org to coordinate a single invoice. If you are paying for a single membership by check, please reach out to the office to arrange payment.
Eligibility Period: All entries must have been originally produced and intended for the Chapter’s regional or local audience during the Chapter’s eligibility year of January 1st - December 31st, 2024.

Get ready for this year’s Call for Entries – it is never too early to start preparing those entries!
Entry Checklist - Here is what you should have in hand to start your entries:
Title of Entry
Submitting Organization - your company
Submitter - may be you but does not need be an entrant
Entrants: individual(s) considered most responsible for entry.
Include their proper name (as would appear on an award), role on the entry (not just their job title), phone, and email for each entrant.
Keep in mind you cannot add names after the Nominations have been announced so everyone who should receive a statuette should the entry receive one needs to be included during the submission process.
Date Entry first aired - format: 2024-09-15
Length of Entry
Station/URL - where the entry first aired
If there is a URL we need to know that but you will still need to upload the actual video file.
Description - not required but suggested
Entry Video - videos do not need to be uploaded by the Early or Official deadline but MUST be uploaded and approved by the Late deadline
Credit Card for Payment - each entrant's payment must be received or included on the station's invoice by the Late deadline

I'm pretty new to Crossy Road and only started playing it a few days ago. At first, I thought it was just another simple mobile game where you tap to move forward and avoid obstacles. After spending some time with it, I realized there's a lot more strategy involved than I expected.
The thing that helped me the most as a beginner was learning not to rush. In my first few games, I kept moving forward as fast as possible and usually got hit by a car or trapped by a train. Once I started paying attention to the traffic patterns and waiting for the right moment, my scores improved almost immediately.
