46th Emmys Awarded at Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, June 12 More than 400 broadcasters from Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia gathered tonight for The 46th Emmy Awards at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in northwest Washington, DC. 

The ceremony is sponsored by the National Capital/Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Television Academy.  Hosts for the evening were Roberta Baskin (Senior Producer/Correspondent PBS),
Chick Hernandez (Reporter/Anchor Comcast SportsNet),
Joe Johns (Congressional Correspondent CNN),
and Lea Thompson (Chief Consumer Correspondent NBC).

Emmy Nominations Announced

46th Emmy Awards to be held June 12 at the
Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC

BETHESDA, Md., May 10 –  The National Capital/Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Television Academy announced its nominations for the 46th Emmy Awards, to be held Saturday, June 12 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Doug Hill, Chief Meteorologist from WJLA, and Weathercaster Sue Palka from WTTG , hosted the ceremony this evening at Tommy Joe's Restaurant in Bethesda, Md.

Members should have received an Emmy invitation and RSVP card in the mail.  If you did not, or are not a member and would like to attend, printable versions of each are available below in the
"IMPORTANT DOWNLOADS" section.

Stations planning to place a bulk order for tickets must be sure to select an entree for each of their guests, or one will be assigned.
